Your Melatonin Window (RISE's bedtime recommendation) is based on your recent sleep-wake patterns, which may not reflect your work or social schedule. If you've been going to bed late or sleeping in, your Melatonin Window will reflect that.
To shift your Melatonin Window, adjust your wake time goal. As RISE picks up on the new pattern, your Melatonin Window will shift accordingly.
How do I update my RISE wake time goal?
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner of the RISE app.
- Tap Wake time goal.
- Select your preferred wake time range for weekdays and/or weekends.
RISE will recalculate your Melatonin Window and Energy Schedule based on the new wake time.
What if I work irregular hours?
If your schedule rotates or varies frequently, your Melatonin Window may not be a reliable bedtime guide. Focus on what's practical for your schedule and use other RISE features like sleep debt tracking and the Smart Alarm that stay useful on any schedule.
