Workouts don't redraw your circadian-based Energy Schedule in RISE, but they do influence how you experience your energy throughout the day. RISE shows an "energy boost" in your current energy zone after you exercise.
Your Energy Schedule is based on your circadian rhythm, which responds to exercise only modestly — morning workouts tend to nudge your internal clock earlier, evening workouts can push it later, and midday sessions have little effect. What you're more likely to notice is how a workout affects your short-term energy. A longer or harder session can make your next energy dip feel deeper, while a shorter or high-intensity workout might extend your alertness a bit longer.
To see the energy boost, RISE needs permission to read your workout data from Apple Health.
How do I see my RISE energy boost after a workout?
- Open the Health app on your iPhone.
- Tap your profile picture in the top right.
- Tap Privacy > Apps > Rise Sleep.
- Make sure all options are toggled on, including Workouts and Exercise Minutes.
After granting permissions, RISE will show an energy boost in your current energy zone after your next detected workout.
Is RISE exercise tracking available on Android?
RISE only reads exercise data from Apple Health on iPhone. Exercise data isn't available in RISE on Android.
