Naps count toward RISE's sleep estimate, so napping can help reduce your sleep debt. RISE factors naps into your sleep debt calculation the same way it factors in nighttime sleep.
RISE doesn't detect naps automatically. A connected wearable may capture nap data, but this isn't always reliable as most wearables aren't designed to capture daytime sleep. To make sure a nap counts toward your sleep debt, log it by tapping + Nap on the Home tab, setting your nap start and end times, and tapping Add & Review.
