How to connect WHOOP on iPhone
Set up WHOOP to share data with Apple Health:
- Open the WHOOP app on your iPhone.
- Go to WHOOP's settings and enable sharing with Apple Health. Make sure the Sleep category is turned on.
- Open the Apple Health app.
- Tap your profile picture in the upper right corner.
- Tap Apps & Services under Privacy.
- Tap RISE and make sure all data categories are toggled on.
Once both WHOOP and RISE are connected to Apple Health, RISE checks Apple Health each morning for the previous night's sleep data from your WHOOP.
When you don't wear your WHOOP to bed, RISE falls back to automatic phone motion-based sleep detection.

- Sync your WHOOP. Open the WHOOP app and let it sync the latest data to Apple Health.
- Restart RISE. Force close the RISE app and reopen it.
