Whether your RISE subscription transfers to a new device depends on where the subscription was created and whether the new device runs the same operating system.
RISE web subscriptions work on any device
RISE web subscriptions aren't tied to a specific platform, so a RISE web subscription will work on any device. To transfer a RISE web subscription to a new device:
- Download the RISE app on the new device.
- Log in with the same email and password used to create the RISE account.
- The subscription will be recognized automatically.
RISE web subscriptions work on both iOS and Android devices.
RISE App Store subscriptions (iOS to iOS)
RISE App Store subscriptions are tied to the Apple ID. To transfer to a new iPhone or iPad:
- Make sure the new device is signed in to the same Apple ID that holds the RISE subscription.
- Download the RISE app from the App Store.
- Log in to the RISE account with the same email and password.
- The RISE subscription will be recognized automatically.
RISE Google Play subscriptions (Android to Android)
RISE Google Play subscriptions are tied to the Google account. To transfer to a new Android device:
- Make sure the new device is signed in to the same Google account that holds the RISE subscription.
- Download the RISE app from Google Play.
- Log in to the RISE account with the same email and password.
- The RISE subscription will be recognized automatically.
Switching RISE between iOS and Android
RISE in-app subscriptions don't transfer across operating systems. A RISE App Store subscription won't work on an Android device, and a RISE Google Play subscription won't work on an iOS device.
If switching from one operating system to the other, reach out to the RISE support team. RISE may be able to offer a prorated refund on the current subscription so a new subscription can be started on the other platform.
